This cocktail was made for my The Simpsons Treehouse of Horror movie night! This margarita can also be called the "marge-arita." Get it? The margarita looks just like Marge! I garnished with maraschino cherries to resemble Marge's necklace. I don't think I'll ever get tired of pretty blue curaçao cocktails! Think a traditional margarita but with an orange twist added to it. This easy spicy margarita recipe combines orange juice, freshly squeezed lime juice, and jalapeño slices with Blanco tequila for a sweet and spicy cocktail. When mixed, it turns the gorgeous turquoise and tastes so good. The top part is a combination of blue curacao and silver tequila. This is as pure margarita as you can make, with agave in the spotlight: tequila from agave and the sweetener from agave. The bottom half of this mixed drink is made with freshly squeezed orange juice and lime juice. A perfect margarita has a balance of sweet and tart, and it just has three ingredients: 100 agave tequila (Weir prefers blanco), freshly squeezed lime juice, and agave nectar. I can't stop staring at this beautiful orange juice blue margarita.

This tequila cocktail was inspired by Marge Simpson (Marge-arita) and went perfectly with my Treehouse of Horror night to celebrate Halloween.
